The Seven Main Chakras

The Root Chakra, or Mooladhara, is located at the base of the spine, and its energy helps us to feel grounded and connected to the Earth. A balanced Root Chakra allows us to feel secure and connected to the physical world.

The Sacral Chakra, or Swadisthana, is the second chakra, located in the lower abdomen and connected to the water element. It is the energetic center of creativity, pleasure, joy, sensuality, sexuality and fertility. When it is balanced it is easy to enjoy the pleasure of life and flow with what comes your way.

Manipura, or the solar plexus chakra, is located in the area of the navel and is associated with self-confidence, boundaries, courage, personal power & vital energy. When in balance we have the strength and courage to be our authentic selves, set healthy boundaries & use the energy of Manipura to manifest our dreams.

The Heart Chakra, or Anahata in Sanskrit, is located in the center of the chest and associated with love, compassion, acceptance, forgiving and understanding. When in balance it is easy to practice self-care, feel love, compassion, and joy both for yourself and others, express your feelings, and be open to give and receive love.

The Throat Chakra, Vishuddha, is located in the throat area and associated with communication, self-expression, truth, the element of sound and creative expression. find their voice and speak their truth. When in balance, we are able to practice healthy communication, use our voice authentically and freely, can express ourselves fully and share our truth with the world.

The Third Eye Chakra, also known as Ajña Chakra, is located between the eyebrows & represents intuition, imagination, and insight. When the Third Eye Chakra is balanced, we can experience clarity and insight into our true selves & inner wisdom.

The Sahasrara or Crown Chakra, is located at the top of the head and associated with higher consciousness, enlightenment, and divine wisdom. When Sahasrara is in balance we can cultivate inner peace and understanding easily & reach higher levels of spiritual awareness.

In this Chakra Yoga Retreat you will learn tools how to bring each of these chakras into balance.
Patricia Grimaldi
Ever since she came in contact with Ayurveda over a decade ago when at a crossroads Patricia has been on a deep dive into a yogic life, the search for truth and the path of healing.
After completing a Hatha Yoga Training in India, she founded Sapana Yoga in 2015. Her ongoing search led her to take many different trainings like Ayurveda, Yin Yoga, Qi Gong, Akashic Records, Bhakti Yoga, Transformational Facilitation, Aerial Yoga, Vegan Nutrition, Coaching & more. She now holds more than 800hrs of Training.

The many studies with spiritual teachers around the world and her constant search for Truth have helped her to undertake deep transformation, live a life dedicated to the spiritual journey and share all this knowledge with others in her classes, retreats and trainings.
Gabriel Grimaldi
Gabriel started on the path of yoga a decade ago with the aim to find balance and wellbeing.
The more he practiced the more he wanted to know. This led him to travel all over the world trying different yoga styles and practicing with many teachers until he found a path that resonated with him: Jnana Yoga, the path of knowledge.

He was introduced to self-inquiry and Ramana Maharshi’s teachings by Mooji in India and recognized the truth of it immediately: going deep into the “I am” sense in the search of our true nature.

Gabriel has taken many months in his own four walls to retreat into silence. A time where he experienced the power of stillness which led him to discover his true nature. Through daily practice and study he has come to understand and incorporate the wisdom of the ancient scriptures.

He is used to taking the path of the heart as he chose to follow his passion from a very early age and become a professional musician. All this knowledge is transmitted in a simple way in the practical lectures with guitar, harmonium and voice .
